Ny forumrubrik

Classic pattern, retro F3A, nostalgi F3A eller vad man vill kalla det verkar allt jämt öka i intresse. Under denna nya forumrubrik kan vi diskutera ylande tvåtaktare, trilskande landställsmekanismer och varför turnaroundprogrammet någonsin införskaffades. Var gränsen till nostalgi går får vara ospecificerat. Kanske vi associerar detta mest till tiderna kring curare och magic epoken, men den som vill diskutera piplängd för en hanno special får för all del även posta det här. big_smile

Vad är det för stigning / area på propp som är vanligast till en Webra 61 bakblås Long stroke...? Jag har monterat den i en gammal Ruggero Pasqualini, Galaxi 60.. Har ingen erfarenhet av Long stroke... Tack på förhand Thomas..

På os 61 bakblås pipa kör jag 11x9 så det bör ligga där någon stans

For vårt norske treff er det dessverre bare dato og sted som er satt: Jarlsberg flyplass ved Tønsberg lørdag 24. september.
Men info kommer på www.f3a.no så følg med der.

I am busy working on the design of my very first acrobatic model called ACROLY Mk-1. It was designed in 1967/68 with strong tendency of Kwik Fly, but bigger and with tapered wing. With retracts and 1560 mm wingspan.
Will be a perfect kit, easy to build…
I have found a private modeller who has all the equipment for fun in his home and we are working together on producing my super old models in at least Kato (MK) quality!
This man works in carbon fiber industry producing all parts for Porsche RSR and… So it’s real high tech. I have very high standards on top quality and he can satisfy my needs. Kit will be all wood in balsa with built up wing.
First model to be produced is my real first aerobatic design from 1967/68 the ACROLY Mk 1 with 158 cm wingspan. Truly influenced by WC winning Kwikfly from Phil Kraft and Giezendanners Pelikan.

My friend, who is working now an the Acroly kit, is already producing nearly all really old Graupner models as replicas in built up kit versions.
I can send more infos if you like.

Last week I did a visit at a good old friend of mine; he had a fine machinery company and when Maro (the famous propeller company) stopped their
HQ and expensive propeller line, this man took over some machines and some of their equipment. But now my friend is retired and got ill and so he
is trying to sell his collection of MARO props. So I told him I would try to help him. When I saw the original prototype MARO props in the box, I
Recognized them, because I have tested them ALL and gave my test reports to MARO in 93. Even there are my personal letters abd numbers
in silver still on the props.
It was funny for me to see these old memories. So I have listed everything and made comments as good as I can remember. Some props have no name on, because these are preproduction prototypes and some were never produced because they were used just to compare efficiency and noise
with Asano propellers.
I will offer these props to our Austrian, German and Italian Retro flyers via the web but maybe some of your pilots in the north are interested. We have decided a reasonable price of Euro 38 excl. postage, because these props are prototypes and are very rare and only once available in these different and exotic sizes. If somebody is interested please send me a request, so that I can make reservation of that prop. If the buyer likes, on request, I can place my autograph on the propeller.

Jag stänger den här tråden nu då den egentligen endast var menad som introduktion för den nya forumdelen "nostalgi". Framöver skapar vi nya trådar här i stället. Jag har även passat på att sortera över lite gamla trådar inom samma ämne.
