Hej alla F3A vänner!

I senaste Sporting Code 2018 för F3A och F3P gäller ett nytt sätt att beräkna s.k. Normalisering vid tävlingar i F3A (och F3P).
Det resultatprogram vi använder i Sverige och övriga Norden sen många år, MultiRes, har nu justerats så att programmet beräknar Normaliseringen enligt den nya regeln.
Jag kan även nämna att MultiRes har stöd för att knappa in 1/2 poäng, som vi ju också skall börja använda i år vid våra tävlingar. Skall man t ex skriva in 8,5 poäng i MultiRes så trycker man först  . (tecknet punkt - det funkar även med , dvs kommatecknet) på tangentbordet och därefter på tangenten 8
Bra att veta för de som skall arrangera tävlingar nu framöver i Sverige (Trollhättan Aero Cup, Gränscupen osv).

För tävlingar som vi håller framöver så använder vi därför den nyaste versionen av MultiRes som är version 3.21 som alltså beräknar Normaliseringen på det nya sättet.
Den nya versionen laddas hem från utvecklarens hemsida:

Välj sen knappen Download till vänster på sidan och slutligen Windows versions där du laddar hem filen till din dator MultiRes_Setup_3.21-2728.exe och dubbelklickar sen på den för att installera programmet. MultiRes funkar på Windows 7 och Windows 10.

Det nya i Sporting Code 2018 är hur SW beräknas.
Nya:
SW = average score of top half of competitors in round

Gamla:
SW = score of winner of round

5.1.9 Classification

e) All scores for each round, preliminary, semi-final and finals, will then be normalised as follows:
The average score of the top half of competitors flown in front of a particular group of judges (ie a round) shall be awarded 1000 points. The remaining scores for that group of judges are normalised to a percentage of the 1000 points in the ratio of actual score over this average score.
PointSx = Sx / Sw x 1000

PointSx = points awarded to competitor X
Sx = score of competitor X
Sw = average score of top half of competitors in round

Kommentar från utvecklaren av MultRes version 3.21:
It is still a prototype version (3.21) that is not tested in real contest yet.
Also, it is quite long time since I compiled the release version last time and all available libraries has been updated since.
Therefore I had number of issues before I was able to compile the code it and after I managed to get it running, I found a number of unwanted features, like cursor is in waiting-mode all the time, score rounding errors, scores are not stored to database etc.

So it is fully possible that something else will pop-up and therefore in the first contest, I suggest that after creating schedules and added pilots&judges to database, please take backup of database file. Once you have added scores with 3.21, database is not compatible with older versions.
In other words, if 3.21 doesn't work correctly, you can type scores with older version with database backup and tell what went wrong
